Framework Laptop 13 (13th gen Intel Core) features two Intel Thunderbolt 4 controllers integrated into the CPU 9. All four expansion card ports support USB-PD charging and Thunderbolt 4; the two ports on each side share bandwidth.
13th Gen also comes with the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 Wi-Fi card or the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 Wi-Fi card with vProBluetooth 5.3 5
Framework Laptop 13 (13th Gen Intel Core) supports JEDEC DDR4 SO-DIMMS up to 32 GB. XMP speeds are not supported. 10

On some 13th Gen Intel Framework Laptop 13s, libfprint
does not recognize the fingerprint sensor on Linux due to a Goodix firmware incompatibility. 16 A beta fingerprint sensor firmware update is available via LVFS to resolve the issue. 17
